This ticket includes a supplement for the fundraising promoted by the Italian Government aimed at securing and restoring cultural heritage in the flooded areas of Emilia Romagna (Art. 14 - DL 1 June 2023, n.61).
The journey will begin with a guided tour inside the majestic Colosseum, following a route that offers exclusive access to the arena floor. After having tasted the grandeur of ancient Rome in the Colosseum, the itinerary moves towards the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. This guided tour allows participants to explore some of Rome’s main attractions in depth, immersing themselves in the history and culture of ancient Rome.
The guided tour includes a journey into history through the visitor of the Colosseum and its Arena floor. Participants will have the opportunity to have a unique and fascinating experience, exploring the arena where gladiators and entertainers fought and entertained the crowds in ancient times. The ticket includes single access to the Colosseum and exclusive access to the Arena floor, allowing you to discover the most intriguing corners of the monument. In addition, the ticket also offers single access to the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. These places, rich in history and evidence of ancient Rome, can be explored independently, allowing you to discover the greatness of the Roman Empire at your own pace.
The guided tour does not include the guided tour of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. Even if the ticket provides access to these places, the visit will be self-contained. Also, access to the Colosseum’s underground is not included.

After the visit of the Colosseum, the journey continues towards the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. The Roman Forum was the center of public life in ancient Rome, while the Palatine Hill, one of Rome’s seven hills, is reputed to be the birthplace of the city. Both places are rich in archaeological remains which bear witness to the grandeur of ancient Rome.
The tour is led by an expert archaeologist who helps visitors understand the history and culture of ancient Rome. The guide takes visitors through the immersive experience of exploring Ancient Rome through the eyes of gladiators and arena entertainers.
