It’s a great way of entrance to Castel by using the passageway between the Vatican and Castel Sant’Angelo or historic Passetto di Borgo, used by popes to runaway from Vatican if was necessari to save their live. About 800m of walking with guide person, and no waiting a second on main entrance in Castel, like you are Hadrian personaly. Perfect signs to show you how to walk through Castel, nice new exibition about Castel history, nice bar with toilets, many unexpected interesting details… And, finaly, main terrace on the top of Castel with one of the most beautiful views at Rome, probably the best, cause of central position of Castel in Rome. Unbelievable experience, which I finaly have seen at my sixth time in Rome. But please, who plans to visit Rome, plan it for the first visit!

We did not have to queue at all as there were no people in the line for ticket holders. Honestly, this does not happen very often in Rome even with skip-the-line tickets… we arrived at around 11 a.m. on December 31st and really enjoyed the visit. The castle itself was so crowded as we were afraid it might be, everything was marked properly, it was easy to find the way around the venue.

Seeing Rome is always enchanting. Although I have been to Rome many times, I had never gone to Castel S. Angelo: The “skip the line” tickets are also very convenient for the large number of tourists who are always there. Grandiose, interesting, exciting. The terrace from which you can admire the angel unsheathing the sword splendid and the panorama of such beauty that is unparalleled.

The trip to Rome was a surprise for the family. I arranged everything from home, and I was very happy with this website and app. I bought the ticket to Castel Sant’Angelo on this website, and it was easy to do. Another thing I liked was that it had a translator! 🙂

The views halfway up and ontop of the Castell are breathtaking. They are worth the price of the ticket alone. You also get to know the history of the place too.
